Tips On Purchasing Your Wedding

Gown For Each Body Shape

Welcome To Majestic Bridal Boutique

Have you every asked the question, which wedding dress style would I look the best in? Well, we have some tips on choosing your wedding gown for each body type here!

Lets take a look at a Hourglass figure:

Choosing a gown that focuses on your waist is probably the best option for your body shape. A two piece Corset Dress, Ball Gown, A-Line designs helps accentuate the brides Hourglass figure. If your looking to enhance your bust line, these designs usually the best choice.

Moving on, Pear Shape:

Choosing a gown that has sleeker lines is the best choice, the A line Princess dress helps minimize the more fuller hips of the Pear Shape. A long veil will also help create more sleeker and thinning lines.

Petite Body Shape:

In order to help elongate your body shape, purchasing a Shealth or Column style gown can be a great buy, theses styles help give the illusion of height. Purchasing a more fuller gown, like a ball gown can be too much for a petite body shape. Usually the Mermaid design is too overwhelming on smaller sized women.  Focus on purchasing a gown that gives the illusion of height, like a long train or sweep train accent.

Fuller Waisted Brides:

The A line wedding gown can look amazing on this body shape. Picking a gown with Princess Lines or Drop waist can help enhance the upper part of the body. With a full bust line, Bridal corsets can break up the breast line from the waist, creating sleeker lines.

Wide Shoulders and/or Fuller Arms:

For the broader shoulder's, strapless and scoop neck lines help minimize the width of the shoulder's. Now, for minimizing the more fuller arm, a wedding gown that comes off the shoulder's  and/or sheer fabric can help accentuate the fuller arm.

For the Taller woman:

You are the luckiest of them all, you can wear just about anything. Purchasing a Mermaid, A Line, Sleek straight line gown can enhance your body shape.
